Bob Lundberg

I was born and raised in Duluth Minnesota. While in High School I got the aviation bug and started to take flying lessons. The flying stuck with me so I chose to attend the University of North Dakota where I obtained a degree in Aerospace and Meteorology. While in attendance at UND, I co-founded a new aviation organization and was a member of the aviation student aviation advisory council that met and discussed student issues with the dean on the department. During the summer months I was a Flight Instructor and Flew as a Fire Spotting pilot.

After graduation, I began a twenty year career as an airline pilot. I worked for Commuter Carriers for six years and found employment at TWA. While at TWA I worked as a pilot and in a management capacity in Flight Operations where I was responsible for pilot training and other operational requirements. American Airlines purchased TWA in 2001 and I became a line pilot for American. In my airline career I have flown many different types of Aircraft such as the Airbus 320 and 300 series, and other popular aircraft such as the DC9, MD80, B727, and B737.

During my airline career I had to make many moves, some moves were out of necessity, and some of the moves were cross country. These moves involved the selling and purchasing of homes. I found the process intriguing and became interested in Real Estate. I became so interested that I received a Realtor License so I could remain involved in the industry. I am a licensed Realtor in the State of Virginia. Due to the number of distressed homeowners in the area I also obtained schooling and received the National Association of Realtors SFR designation. This means that I have training in dealing with the process of Short Sales and Foreclosures so I can assist buyers and sellers of the “process” involved in these types of sales.

I live in Purcellville, Virginia with my wife who is a Nurse and my three children: Grant, Clayton, and Morgan. When I am not assisting clients in their real estate needs, I enjoy spending time with my family exploring the areas many historical sites. US History is Virginia history and the number of historical sites is never ending. I also enjoy the art of Zumerology (beer making). I have worked at a brewery in the past and the art of making beer has stuck, as I am always trying to perfect that pint of suds.

Providing customer service beyond customer’s expectations is obviously something you’d expect from any Realtor when you are making such a large change for your family like moving and purchasing a new home.As a professional MaxValue Realtor, I want to ensure my clients are at ease. Buying and Selling homes is a stressful process for most people. I have been through the process myself many times, and understand what my clients are going through. I have had to move cross country with my family and had to research schools for my kids and research different neighborhoods to purchase in. I want to relieve my clients stress, and help them to go through the transition with ease. I want to do the worrying regarding the purchase and sale of a home for my clients. That is why I chose the motto, “Helping families make the right move.”
